OUR BEGINNINGS

The history of SpeakerCraft is a story of innovation, determination and a drive to provide technology that makes a difference in the lives of their customers. From its genesis over thirty years ago as a small retail storefront the company later began producing loudspeakers for motor homes. This led to SpeakerCraft creating the first in-wall speaker and in doing so igniting an industry. As they left their retail roots behind, the company became an OEM manufacturer for some of the largest names in the audio business.

In 1994 SpeakerCraft released a series of custom installed loudspeakers under their own brand and the result of that effort has been nothing short of incredible. The key to their success was in the selection of an enthusiastic young man who had cut his teeth in the business on the retail floor and spent countless hours selling and installing audio systems. As the National Sales Manager, Jeremy Burkhardt not only forged alliances with the top dealers in the country but he was also a major force in new product development. Through his incredible energy and determination the products and support from SpeakerCraft set new standards in the industry.

Jeremy has surrounded himself with a team of industry professionals. One such professional is the man who first helped bring Jeremy into SpeakerCraft, Jeff Francisco, SpeakerCraft’s V.P. of Product Development. They have worked together for more than 20 years combining their expertise to help shape an industry. Recently, they added another industry and control system expert, Dan Kippycash, as the Director of Nirv Product Development. These critical players are responsible for the dramatic growth, industry domination and superior technical reputation that are all part of the SpeakerCraft legend.

Today, under Mr. Burkhardt’s leadership, the company has become the world leader in custom installed loudspeakers and electronics. Available through dealers across the U.S. and over 80 countries around the world, SpeakerCraft offers the broadest selection of custom audio products and accessories available anywhere.
